Privacy Policy

How account, learning, simulation, and support information is handled in VoxLinc Market Academy.

1. This policy covers VoxLinc Market Academy

This policy applies to information handled through VoxLinc Market Academy and its supported web or mobile versions. It is not a privacy policy for the overall VoxLinc Creative website. The information involved depends on the features you use.

2. Information we collect

VoxLinc Market Academy handles information you provide and information generated as you use the app, including:

  • Name, email address, and account details.
  • Login and session data used to authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • Lesson progress and exam progress, history, and results.
  • VoxLinc Market Academy Challenge activity and VoxBucks balances and history.
  • Package and subscription status, and billing-related identifiers such as customer, checkout, subscription, or transaction references.
  • Support requests and information you choose to include in them.
  • Questions and answers you submit to the text Market Coach, where used.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe when applicable. VoxLinc Market Academy does not store full card details.

Payment providers handle payment information under their own privacy policies. VoxLinc Market Academy uses billing-related identifiers and payment or subscription status to associate a purchase with your account and provide the appropriate access. If a supported mobile purchase uses an app store, that store’s rules and privacy policy also apply.

4. How information is used

Information is used to:

  • Operate the app and maintain your account.
  • Provide package, lesson, exam, and simulation access.
  • Track learning progress, exam results, and simulation activity.
  • Process billing-related access and subscription status.
  • Respond to support and data-related requests.
  • Maintain and improve the app.
  • Only if you allow it, measure whether our Meta ads lead to visits and new account sign-ups.
  • Protect accounts, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.

5. Service providers and disclosures

Service providers may handle information needed to provide services such as hosting, account authentication, payment processing, and support communications. The information shared depends on the service and is used to operate VoxLinc Market Academy.

When you use the text Market Coach, submitted questions or answers and relevant lesson or concept context are sent to OpenAI to generate an educational response. Do not include sensitive personal or payment information in those messages. Transactional email may use Resend when configured. External font and media providers receive the network information needed to deliver their content when it is loaded. If you allow optional Meta ad measurement, Meta Platforms receives the limited information described in Cookies and similar technologies, under Meta's own terms and privacy policy.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect security or legal rights, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. Contact support if you need more information about providers relevant to your account.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

VoxLinc Market Academy uses login/session cookies and similar browser storage where needed for authentication and app functionality. Your browser settings may let you control cookies or storage; disabling essential ones may prevent login or other features from working.

Optional Meta ad measurement is off unless you choose Allow. If you allow it, the Meta Pixel loads only on the public homepage and Create Account page at academy.voxlincs.com, and only while you are signed out. It is used to measure whether our Meta ads lead to visits and new account sign-ups, and to help Meta deliver and evaluate those ads. After an account is successfully created on that page, a sign-up event (CompleteRegistration) with a random event identifier is sent.

When the pixel loads, Meta receives browser identifiers such as Meta cookies (for example _fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from a Meta ad), your IP address, browser and device information, the address of the allowed page, the referring site limited to its domain or one of these two pages, and event times. The pixel is skipped when a page or referring address contains unexpected information. This is not anonymous: Meta may connect this information with a Meta account or other information it holds, under its own terms and privacy policy.

VoxLinc Market Academy does not send your name, email address, password, account ID, Market Coach questions or answers, lesson or exam progress or results, VoxLinc Market Academy Challenge or VoxBucks activity, or payment information to Meta. The pixel is not loaded on sign-in, learning, account, checkout, or other app pages. Declining or withdrawing never affects creating an account or using the app.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the page footer. Withdrawing stops the pixel in that browser from then on; it cannot recall information Meta has already received. Choices are stored in your browser, so clearing site data or using another browser or device asks again. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Meta ad measurement stays off. Ad measurement counts are estimates and may be incomplete, for example because of consent choices, ad blockers, or network problems.

7. Retention and security

Information is retained for as long as needed to operate your account, provide the app, handle support, and meet applicable obligations. Retention depends on the information and the reason it is kept, rather than one fixed period for every record.

Some transaction, security, support, legal, tax, accounting, or compliance records may be retained where required or permitted, including after an account deletion request. No system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure; keep your login details private.

8. Your rights and requests

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to restrict or object to certain uses. You may also have the right to raise concerns with a local data protection authority.

To request account deletion or data-related support, contact admin@voxlincs.com from the email address associated with your VoxLinc Market Academy account. We may need to verify that a request is authorized before acting on it. Rights and responses are subject to applicable law and lawful retention requirements.
